Developed for the player who is looking for ultimate rebound on the drum and ride cymbal, the American Jazz line consists of 6 models which feature a long taper in the shaft for that great feel! The neck specifications are sizeable enough to create dark cymbal sounds, and the small teardrop tip keeps everything in focus. |
Vic Grip is a new anti-slip drumstick coating made from an eco-friendly, water based urethane. It provides a comfortable and slip resistant grip to the American Classic® 5A, 5B, 7A, 2B and ROCK, in both wood and nylon tip. Vater Wire Tap Brushes Rubber-gripped. Retractable without a pull-rod. |
This Bamboo Splashstick has the same physical design as Vater's original Splashstick, but is constructed from bamboo dowels. The bamboo offers superb durability and some added weight for a solid feel, without excess volume. Bamboo is also the fastest growing plant on Earth, making this a very eco-friendly stick.

19 hand-selected birch dowels provide warm acoustic tonality while producing a solid crack. The extended rubber grip leaves 4" of the dowels exposed, offering stick-like feel with excellent durability in the rimshot area. |
The Vater Traditional Splashstick may be the ultimate traditional style multi-dowel drumstick. The Traditional Splashstick is crafted from 19 hand-selected birch dowels with a comfortable rubber grip that is perfect for lower volume settings. |
Vater designed the Monster Brush in collaboration with New York based artist LaFrae Olivia Sci. The Monster is a versatile specialty brush that adjusts to provide the subtlety and swish of a brush or a stick-like feel for a fat backbeat without a ton of volume. Vater gives the Monster Brush a large but comfortable grip and wavy polymer strands for unique sound and feel. |
Sturdy pull-rod with round end. Wide range of spread adjustment. |
This model is a cross between our Rock Rake and the original Rute. A great choice for light jazz and combo playing. With thirty-one plastic bristles (.094") secured in a vinyl handle.
L=15" | Handle thickness = .690" |
A retractable wire brush with an infinitely adjustable brush spread capable of maintaining any playing position. A 6" spread and extra heavy gauge wire provide maximum coverage and sound.

These six models reflect Vic's fifty years of experience as Solo Timpanist with the Boston Symphony Orchestra. Each mallet is turned from a single piece of rock maple, which eliminates a core that could rattle and the need for a screw-on washer to secure the head. Coupled with round seamless heads, they produce bigger and brighter sounds. |
Vic Firth’s bass drum mallets combine seamless, round felt heads with tapered maple handles for deep, dark sound without excessive weight. The exception is the BD8 with its extraordinary weight and contoured shaft. The gong mallets feature turned maple handles and are offered with fleece covered (GB1-2) or yarn wound (GB3-4) heads. The chime hammer is designed for durability, with a high impact head and a hickory handle.

Great service and great staff! They have been wonderful in tracking down items for me. I was able to rent out one of their lesson rooms to record the piano and they were super accommodating! Definitely recommend!

A little late for this review but hopefully, "better late than never". Purchased two violins for my daughters in Oct 2014. AYNM was fantastic! They had a great selection and the prices were very good. Customer service was outstanding. Lisa was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. We had a problem with one bow and Lisa arranged for a replacement bow to be sent at no cost. We will certainly return to AYNM for all of our future music needs!

All you need music in Brockville has a friendly and helpful staff, a good selection in store as well as a huge selection online. They were great when I ordered an amp I found on their website along with a guitar that wasn't on their site but were able to order it from fender for me, both were delivered quickly and very reasonably priced. I would recommend this shop to everyone and will definitely shop there again.

Good selection in store, nicely presented. The online resource is excellent. They will price-match on any advertised price. If they don't have an item in stock or online, they will get it for you. Nice store, nice people.

I visited the store looking for information on both instruments and music lessons and got courteous, friendly and accurate information on both counts. The store is bright and clean with a good selection but anything not in stock can be ordered and delivered very rapidly. They also have instruments that have been gently used at great prices or one can rent. The staff was very professional and helpful. I don't hesitate to recommend this store for all your music needs.

The students and staff at Sinclair Laird Elementary School in Montreal would like to say Thank-You to All You Need Music for providing the instruments we bought after being awarded the Band Aid Musical Instrument Grant from MusiCounts this year. The new instruments are an exciting addition to our music program. It is such a pleasure to see the children enjoying a variety of new instruments in class as well as in the preparation of our upcoming Spring Concerts. All You Need Music played a big role in fulfilling our instrument "wish list" within our given deadline, they were always so friendly and ready to help. Thank-You All You Need Music for helping us with the last and most exciting part of fulfilling our goal.
